The car
MAGStang GT500R
A dry-carbon 1967–68 fastback on a modern Shelby chassis — S197 GT500, and S550 GT350 and GT500 through 2024. Every factory safety and comfort system retained. Every surface commissioned.

Silhouette
Three hundred parts. One familiar shape.
Because a modern Mustang is larger than a 1967 fastback, MAG Motors models fenders, hood, and panels in CAD and lays them up in dry carbon. The 1967 doors and tail lamps remain in OEM position — the concave tail panel is original geometry, not a styling error. A custom rear diffuser ties the quad exhaust into a line that 1965–68 cars never had.
HID/LED projector lamps, sequential turn and tail lamps, a Mach 1 fuel cap over a capless filler, and a power trunk are standard MAGStang vocabulary.

Cabin
A 1967 dash that talks to a 21st-century car.
Integrating a vintage dashboard with power windows, locks, mirrors, cameras, and keyless start was the longest development on the prototype. The result is Bluetooth and navigation, Recaro seats, a 13-speaker Focal system, dual-zone climate, and Ford GT-style window switches — without giving up the 1967 instrument landscape.

Serial
Each MAGStang is numbered.
Prototype Shelby 00 began as a 2014 GT500 and spent three years in development. Client cars now include S550 GT350 and GT500 through 2024. Build times vary depending on order timing and options selected. MAG Motors custom parts carry a one-year warranty. The mechanical car underneath remains a Ford — which is the point.
